If the City of West Liberty has made other arrangements for the disposal of burnable waste to the satisfaction of the Council by March 1, 2008, then subsection 4-5-2G of this chapter is automatically repealed, and open burning is thereby banned within the corporate limits, except as allowed under section 4-5-1 of this chapter. If the City has not made alternate arrangements to the satisfaction of the Council, this repealer may be extended for a one-year period by affirmative roll call vote of the Council. It may be extended by subsequent one-year periods by the same method. (Ord. 2008-01, 3-4-2008)
