9-2-3: MINOR RECONSTRUCTION OR REPAIRS:

Repairs that involve only the minor reconstruction of parts of a building or structure may be made without a permit, provided no major structural changes are incurred; and further provided that the cost of such minor reconstruction does not exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00). (1975 Code § 9-3-11; amd. 1998 Code)
