8-5-24: VIOLATION OF REGISTRATION PROVISIONS:

It shall be unlawful for any person to drive or move or any owner knowingly to permit to be driven or moved upon any street or alley within the corporate limits of the City, any vehicle of a type required to be registered by the laws of the State which is not so registered, or for which the appropriate fee has not been paid when and as required by such State laws, or when proper plates or other insignia furnished by the State are not properly displayed, as required by such State laws. (1975 Code § 8-5-31)
