5-2-1: INTERFERING WITH ELECTRIC LIGHT OR POWER METER:

Any person interfering or tampering with, or changing an electric light or power meter used by the City for the purpose of measuring electric current, or who, with an intent to defraud shall by use of a wire or other device prevent or attempt to prevent the full current from passing through said meter, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. (1975 Code § 5-2-13)
