The Police Chief or the officer designated in charge of traffic control shall place and maintain traffic control devices as required by the provisions of this Traffic Code, and shall place and maintain such additional traffic control devices as may be necessary to regulate, guide or warn traffic consistent with the provisions of this Traffic Code. All traffic control devices shall conform to the "Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways" adopted by the Ohio Department of Transportation in accordance with Ohio R.C. 4511.09.
