143.05 DESIGN ENGINEER.

(a) The position of Design Engineer is hereby established. The Design Engineer shall perform such duties as are prescribed for them by the Director and Assistant Director of Engineering. In addition, the Design Engineer shall perform the following duties:

(1) Shall perform design of storm sewers, sanitary sewers, structures, roadways and other municipal improvements.

(2) Perform project management, field investigations and inspections.

(b) The Design Engineer shall be a licensed professional engineer in the State of Ohio.
