Permits required by the Ohio Fire Code shall be issued by the Westlake Fire Department after the permit is applied for and accompanied by a plan or drawing for the purposes of evaluation of the application. The Fire Department shall have the authority to require permits for the mandatory and discretionary purposes listed in the Ohio Fire Code sections 105.1.1.1 and 105.1.1.2. Mandatory discretionary permits shall be issued upon approval of the application and upon payment of a fifty dollar ($50.00) permit fee.
