1357.11 SUPPLEMENTAL REGULATIONS.
   (a)   All sewers shall be bulkheaded at the property line or as directed by the Engineering Deprtment. A street opening permit may be required from the Engineering Department. Bulkheading shall be inspected by the Engineering Department prior to commencement of demolition.
   (b)   Demolition of the structure shall also include all slabs, basement walls and floors, footers, sanitary sewer treatment tanks, and any other subgrade structures.
   (c)   All concrete or hard surface walks, drives and other grade level hard surfaces, including sub-bases, shall also be removed from the premises.
   (d)   Existing curb cuts on curbing shall be restored per the Engineering Department requirements.
   (e)   Underground storage tanks and any contaminated soil located on the site shall be removed from the site. Removal of the tank shall be under the supervision of the Fire Prevention Bureau.
   (f)   All basements or other excavations resulting from demolition shall be backfilled with clean sandy fill (sand, clay or loam) to existing grade and planted with grass per the direction of the Engineering Department.
   (g)   No excavation shall be made on the job site for the purpose of removing soil or burying debris.
   (h)   All demolition debris shall be removed from the site.
   (i)   All service utility connections shall be discontinued and capped in accordance with procedures established by the utility company. The contractor is responsible for contracting all affected utility companies and assuring the utilities are properly disconnected and approved prior to demolition.
   (j)   The contractor shall comply with all federal, state and local environmental ordinances and regulations and shall cooperate with the owner to obtain any required permits. The contractor shall obtain the necessary permits and comply with all reporting requirements required by such federal, state or local environmental agencies. The contractor shall provide copies of all environmental permits to the City upon applying for a demolition permit.
   (k)   Demolition of the main building or use shall require the demolition or removal of all associated accessory buildings and uses under the same permit.
