(a) No person shall let, rent or lease for occupancy, either as owner, lessor, agent or attorney, any apartment unit or units within the City without first having obtained a license from the Director of Inspections. The license shall be renewable January 1 each year thereafter during the period of occupancy.
The fee for such license shall be twenty-five dollars ($25.00) plus an additional five dollars ($5.00) for each individual dwelling unit to be occupied.
(b) The fee required by subsection (a) hereof shall be paid at the time the permit is issued and delivered to the applicant, irrespective of when the application for such permit is made.
