The required markings for "Handicapped Parking" locations shall be by the posting of Reserved Parking for Handicapped Sign #R-59A as indicated by the Ohio Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices. Such signs shall be erected on metal posts, one sign posted at the head of each such designated handicapped parking space.
The painting of the handicapped symbol on the pavement may be used to supplement the clearly posted #R-59A sign, but the painted handicap symbol alone shall not be deemed sufficient marking and no enforcement action may be taken at such inadequately marked locations.
