For the purpose of this chapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
OUTDOOR DINING. A seasonal use, ancillary and contiguous to an approved eating establishment (restaurant or retail food establishment) containing an area set up outside the confines of the commercial structure with tables, chairs, and other furnishings for the purpose of selling, offering for sale, and serving food and beverages by an adjoining restaurant in which the same food and beverages are offered for sale, sold, and served.
