§ 94.46 PUBLIC NUISANCES; NOXIOUS GROWTH.
   The existence of any of the following conditions on any vacant lot or other parcel of land within the corporate limits of the town is hereby declared to be dangerous and prejudicial to the public health or safety and to constitute a public nuisance:
   (A)   Any accumulation of rubbish, trash, or junk causing or threatening to cause a fire hazard, or causing or threatening to cause the accumulation of stagnant water, or causing or threatening to cause the inhabitation therein of rats, mice, snakes, or vermin of any kind which is or may be dangerous or prejudicial to the public health.
   (B)   Any accumulation of animal or vegetable matter that is offensive by virtue of odors or vapors or by the inhabitance therein of rats, mice, snakes or vermin of any kind which is or may be dangerous or prejudicial to the public health.
   (C)   The open storage of any abandoned ice box, refrigerator, stove, glass, water heater, building material, building rubbish or similar items.
   (D)   Any condition detrimental to the public health which violates the rules and regulations of the County Health Department.
   (E)   Any burned out structure.
   (F)   Any incomplete structure on which no work has been done for a period of six months.
   (G)   Any other condition specifically declared to be a danger to the public health, safety, and general welfare of inhabitants of the town.

   (H)   No person may cause, suffer or permit on premises under his or her control any growth of weeds, grasses or other plants or bushes that becomes or threatens to become a fire hazard or a harboring place for rats, mice, snakes or other vermin or otherwise poses a danger to the public health, or depreciates property values or causes loss of business by detracting from the appearance and character of residential and commercial neighborhoods. The uncontrolled growth of weeds or grass should not exceed a height in excess of 12 inches.
