It shall be unlawful for any person, corporation, partnership, or other entity to erect any wireless communication towers without first obtaining a permit from the Zoning Administrator. A permit shall also be required for the erection of a replacement tower or modification of an existing tower. Existing towers owned by governmental agencies and designed for non-commercial emergency communications may be replaced with a tower equal in height to the replaced tower; however, all other subchapter provisions are applicable.
