(A) The Planning and Zoning Board shall consist of five members, all of whom shall be residents of the town.
(B) The members of the Planning and Zoning Board shall be appointed by the Mayor and approved by the town Board of Aldermen.
(C) Each member of the Planning and Zoning Board shall be appointed for a term of three years, and the original appointments shall be made in the following manner:
(1) Two members for a term of three years;
(2) Two members for a term of two years; and
(3) One member for a term of one year each.
(D) At the expiration of the terms of all members first appointed, all new or re-appointed members shall be for a full term of three years. Vacancies occurring otherwise shall be for the unexpired term and shall be made by the Mayor with the approval of the town Board of Aldermen.
(E) The members of the Planning and Zoning Board shall be persons of recognized experience and qualifications. All members of the Planning and Zoning Board shall serve without compensation.
