(a) No person shall discharge any air gun, rifle, shotgun, revolver, pistol, or other firearms within the corporate limits of the Municipality.
(b) This Section does not apply when firearms are used in self-defense, in permitted hunting activity in accordance with West Jefferson Codified Ordinance Section 505.11, in the discharge of official duty or when otherwise lawfully authorized.
(c) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree.
