(a) It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to drive any vehicle weighing in excess of eight-thousand (8,000) pounds, when empty on any of the following residential streets:
South Bridge Street
South Twin Street
North West Street
Depot Street
Burnham Street (between Depot and Jackson Streets).

(b) Signs giving notice of weight restrictions shall be placed on those residential streets where excessive weight vehicles are restricted, as per Ohio R.C. 4511.07.
(c) Exemptions to this section shall apply only to operators of vehicles of a licensed common carrier, contractor, firm, corporation or individual engaged in process of delivery, loading or unloading to an address on said residential street or enroute to such address for purposes listed. (d) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor on a first offense; on a second offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree; on each subsequent offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
