(a) All persons procuring a permit under this chapter for the purpose of soliciting goods or donations shall be required to visibly display a photo identification badge on their outer clothing and denoting the name of the organization and the name of the individual.
(b) Upon request, all solicitors or vendors shall provide a written receipt showing the name of the solicitor or vendor, the amount of the contributions or purchase, and the date. Upon request, all persons acting on behalf of any charitable organization shall provide a statement attesting to the organization’s exempt status under state law or Section 501 of the Federal Internal Revenue Code.
