(a) No person shall engage in street vending upon any private property located within the Village of West Jefferson without first obtaining express written permission of the landowner or other person authorized to give such express written permission, and then only if the activity is in compliance with the Zoning Code and/or other Zoning Regulations.
(b) Any operation of Street vending on private property in the following zones is allowed: B-1 (Central Business District), B-2 (Highway Business District), B-3 (Community Shopping Center District), M-1 (Restricted Industrial District), M-2 (General Industrial District), and PCD (Planned Commerce District). Street vending operations on any other zoned private property is prohibited.
(c) A street vendor operating on private property must make such express written permission available upon request by the Director Building, Planning and Zoning or his or her designee, or any other Village law enforcement official.
