(a) A street vendor may operate at a public event or special event for which the Village of West Jefferson is a cosponsor, or any special event for which the event sponsor has received a special permit from the Village to block off and use Village streets for the event (such as, but not limited to, street fairs, arts festivals, or Labor Day / ox roast events), with express written permission of the event sponsor.
(b) A street vendor must make such express written permission available upon request by the Director of Public Services, or his or her designee, or any other Village law enforcement official. (Ord. 21-011. Passed 2-17-21.)
