Violation of this chapter is a Class C misdemeanor and shall, at the discretion of the city, also subject the offender to other civil remedies available to the city for its reasonable costs to restore, or replace, any such damage, neglected, abused, poisoned, mutilated, topped, or flush cut public tree.
