(A) Any person violating any provisions of this chapter, for which no specific penalty is prescribed, shall be subject to § 10.99.
(B) A juvenile convicted of a first-time violation of § 130.02(A)(1) may be placed on probation with the school for a period of up to 90 days. If the juvenile does not have another unexcused absence or violation of § 130.02(A)(1), the case may be dismissed by the court upon a recommendation from the school that the juvenile has complied.
(C) A juvenile convicted of a violation of § 130.02(A)(1) or (A)(2) is guilty of an infraction. In addition to any fine, the court shall review whether there is appropriate community service. The court shall fine the juvenile at least $35.
(D) (1) A parent convicted of a violation of § 130.02(A)(3) shall be guilty of an infraction if the parent had previously been given formal warning of the requirements of this chapter.
(2) A parent will be convicted of a Class C misdemeanor if the parent had been previously convicted of a violation of § 130.02(A)(3).
