The terms of office of the City Recorder and City Treasurer shall be until the municipal election following their appointment, unless they are removed sooner by the Mayor with the concurrence of a majority of the members of the City Council. All other appointive officers shall serve at will until a successor is appointed and qualified, or as otherwise set out in this code.
