(A) In accordance with the provisions of UCA §§ 10-3b-303 et seq., the office of City Manager has been created and established, and shall continue in force and effect as an appointed office of the city.
(B) The City Council shall appoint a qualified person to act as City Manager. Pursuant to UCA § 10-3b-302, the Mayor shall have the right to vote in the appointment and termination of the City Manager.
(C) The City Manager shall, at all times, be under the control and supervision of the City Council, and shall administer the day-to-day operations of the city and its services according to the policies and programs established by the City Council.
(D) The City Attorney, under the direction of the City Council, will prepare an employment contract for the City Manager. The Mayor is authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the city.
