(A) The owner of any impounded animal, or his or her authorized representative, may redeem such animal upon payment of the required fees and before disposition under the rules and regulations prescribed by the animal shelter.
(B) Redemption fees are calculated to include: impound costs; daily board charge; any veterinary costs incurred during the impound period; license and vaccination costs, where needed; transportation costs if specialized equipment is required, other than the standard patrol vehicles of Animal Control; any other reasonable expenses incurred as part of the impound of an animal; and any reasonable restitution for property damage caused by the animal or that occurs because of the impoundment.
