The city or Animal Control shall grant any reasonable accommodation for legitimate service animals from the governing provisions of the municipal code or applicable local regulations for persons with a disability as prescribed by state or federal law. Any person that feels they have been issued a final decision that denies a duly-requested reasonable accommodation may appeal the final decision of the city or Animal Control to the city’s appeal authority by filing a written appeal with the city within ten days of issuance of the final decision.
