Under the direction of the Director, an Animal Control Officer may impose restrictions on a dangerous animal, or potentially dangerous animal, to protect the public from the same. The Director is the delegated authority and may promulgate such rules and regulations necessary and consistent with this chapter to more fully implement the same. The Director is delegated authority to promulgate uniform rules and regulations applicable to pet shops, animal boarding establishments, animal grooming establishments, or similar establishments for their safe and effective operation.
