(A) It is the purpose and intent of this chapter to provide for comprehensive uniform animal control regulations to govern the city and protect life and property. Animal Control service providers and the public is better served by uniform regulations relating to Animal Control.
(B) It is the intent of this chapter that the city’s Animal Services Provider administer:
(1) The Animal Welfare Act, set forth in UCA §§ 11-46-101 et seq.;
(2) The Animal Shelter Pet Sterilization Act, set forth in UCA §§ 11-46-201 et seq.; and
(3) The Community Cat Act, set forth in UCA §§ 11-46-301 et seq.
