§ 90.20 APPLICABILITY, PURPOSE, AND SCOPE.
   (A)   The purpose of this subchapter is to establish standards for the control of noise pollution within the city and to reduce the making, creation, and sustaining of harmful sound, and to secure, protect, and promote the public health and safety of the residents of the city.
   (B)   This subchapter applies to sound generated from real property within the city and applies to all property, equipment, appliances, instruments, and other sound-emitting devices, as described and regulated herein. This subchapter has no applicability to any aspect of the employer-employee relationship concerning health and safety hazards within the confines of a place of employment.
   (C)   This subchapter is not intended to interfere with, abrogate, or annul other rules, regulations, or ordinances, including this city code or state code. If more stringent requirements concerning noise abatement are contained in the other rules, regulations, or ordinances, the more stringent regulation will apply.
