§ 32.07 HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMITTEE.
   (A)   Creation. There is hereby created an ongoing committee known as the Historic Preservation Committee.
   (B)   Members. The Historic Preservation Committee has no limit on the number of members, and all members are appointed and governed consistent with § 32.04 of this chapter.
   (C)   Duties and responsibilities. The Historic Preservation Committee shall consist of members with a demonstrated interest, competence, or knowledge in historic preservation. The Historic Preservation Committee shall perform duties as to preserve and foster an appreciation in the history of the city, and as directed by the City Council:
      (1)   To make recommendations to the City Council concerning the designation of historic areas, districts, landmark sites, and buildings of historic significance; and
      (2)   To make recommendations to the City Council on matters pertaining to historic resources and preservation efforts.
