§ 32.06 CITY BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE.
   (A)   Creation. There is hereby created an ongoing committee known as the City Beautification Committee.
   (B)   Members. The City Beautification Committee has a limit of nine members, and all members are appointed and governed consistent with § 32.04 of this chapter.
   (C)   Duties and responsibilities.
      (1)   The Committee's duties shall be to advise, evaluate, and recommend to the City Council and the City Manager on projects designed to maintain and improve the appearance of public areas within the city.
      (2)   The Committee will also endeavor to recognize the efforts of residents and businesses within the city who have demonstrated exceptional efforts to improve the beauty of the city, as well as other areas of concern hereafter identified by the Mayor, the City Council, or the Committee.
      (3)   The Committee will be responsible for the following:
         (a)   Organize and promote the annual Day of Service;
         (b)   Organize and promote the semi-annual community clean up days; and
         (c)   Make recommendations for beautification projects to be carried out during the spring and summer months.
