§ 116.20 SEVERABILITY CLAUSE.
   If any paragraph, sentence or other part of this chapter shall, for any reason, be adjudged invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, such judgment shall not affect, impair or invalidate the remainder of this chapter, but shall be confined in its operation to the paragraph, sentence or other part thereof which is directly involved in the controversy in which such judgment is rendered.
