§ 93.05 PICKLE BALL COURTS RULES OF OPERATION.
   (A)   Quaker Park Pickle Ball Courts. Use of this facility may cause injury. The city is not responsible for injuries, and each pickle ball court user agrees to hold the city harmless from related damages and claims. All rules stated in § 93.01, General rules for the use of city parks and recreational facilities, apply to the pickle ball courts. In addition, the following rules must be adhered to.
      (1)   The season of operation. The season runs from March 1 through December 1, but has the potential to run all year as long as weather permits.
      (2)   Hours of operation. Hours of operations during the season are daily from dawn to dusk.
      (3)   Fees. There are no fees for the use of the pickle ball courts.
      (4)   Availability. The pickle ball courts are available on a first come first serve basis only.
      (5)   Glass. Glass containers should not be used on or near the pickle ball court.
      (6)   Pets. No pets are allowed in the pickle ball court.
      (7)   Appropriate equipment. Only regulation pickle ball paddles and balls should be used.
      (8)   Pickle ball court usage. The Parks and Recreation Department and the Police Department reserve the right to revoke the use of the pickle ball courts to individuals who violate the rules and regulations. The Parks and Recreation Department also maintains the right to close the pickle ball courts if there are persistent problems with rules or vandalism.
   (B)   Violation of any of these rules can mean expulsion from the park.
   (C)   Broken equipment or anything that requires immediate attention, should be reported to the parks and recreation administrative office at 317-804-3184.
