§ 31.03 RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS.
   (A)   To be eligible to run for office as a district Council member, a person must be a resident of the district he or she seeks to represent, be a citizen of the United States, and be of legal voting age. A district Council member who moves from his or her residence in his or her respective district of election to another district shall vacate his or her seat.
   (B)   To be eligible to run for office of a Council member at-large, a person must be a resident within the corporate limits of the city, be a citizen of the United States, and be of legal voting age.
   (C)   Any Council member who moves his or her place of residence outside the corporate limits of the city vacates his or her seat on the City Council and shall be replaced.
