§ 37.031 ISSUANCE OF WARRANT.
   (A)   The City Council or a board of the city may order the issuance of warrants for payment of money by the city only at a meeting of the City Council or a board.
   (B)   A city officer who violates this section forfeits his or her office pursuant to the provisions of I.C. 36-4-4-3.
