Whenever the Fire Chief, Fire Marshal or their designee, determines by inspection that an apparent or actual violation of the Indiana General Administrative Rules, Indiana Fire Code, Indiana Building Code, Indiana Mechanical Code, Indiana Fuel Gas Code, this Fire Prevention Code, any other rule of the Commission or a hazardous condition exists upon any Class 1 structure within the city’s Fire Department service area, the person making such determination shall issue such notice of violation or order as may be necessary for the enforcement of the Indiana General Administrative Rules, Indiana Fire Code, Indiana Building Code, Indiana Mechanical Code, Indiana Fuel Gas Code, this fire prevention code or any other rule of the Commission.
