1244.04   DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION.
   All streets or sections of streets shall be designed and constructed in accordance with Exhibit III. Residential streets shall be constructed of either seven-inch non-reinforced concrete pavement in accordance with the specifications of the State of Ohio, Department of Transportation, or two layers of one and one-half-inch asphalt concrete (limestone aggregate) over a six-inch bituminous aggregate base (two layers). Residential streets shall be 26 feet wide, face to face, not including the curb on either side. Collector streets, again, shall be constructed of either of the above materials and shall be 30 feet wide, face to face, not including the curb on either side. All curbs are to be constructed integral with the pavement. Contraction joints will be sawed in the pavement at 17-foot intervals, and will extend through the curb. Formed joints will not be permitted. Skewed transverse joints shall be used. Expansion joints will be constructed at all intersections and will meet the requirements of the specifications of the State of Ohio, Department of Transportation. After completion of the pavement, all joints will be sealed with joint sealer meeting the requirements of the specifications of the State of Ohio, Department of Transportation. All sub- grades, storm sewers, catch basins and other details relative to the construction of the completed street will meet the requirements of Exhibit III and the Construction and Material Specifications of the State of Ohio, Department of Transportation, the latest edition.
