(a) The Fire Department is hereby authorized to charge a fee of one hundred twenty-five dollars ($125.00) per person for emergency rescue services provided to that person to help offset the cost of maintaining equipment and furnishing materials used in providing rescue services.

(b) The fee set forth in subsection (a) hereof shall be made to all persons who are nonresidents of either the Village or Westfield Township, Ohio.
(c) This section shall take effect for all rescue service runs made on and after July 1, 1989, provided that the Board of Trustees of Westfield Township, Ohio, passes a resolution also authorizing such charge.
