SECTION 6. DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC UTILITIES.
   The Director of Public Utilities shall be appointed by the City Manager subject to confirmation by the affirmative vote of two-thirds of the members elected to Council; shall serve at the pleasure of the City Manager and may be removed by the City Manager subject to such removal being confirmed by the affirmative vote of two-thirds of the members elected to Council. The Director of Public Utilities shall have charge of the administration, operation, construction, maintenance and repair of all public utilities belonging to the Municipality, and shall perform such other duties, consistent with the office, as may be required by this Charter, by ordinance or resolution of the Council, or as directed by the City Manager. Rates to be charged for the products or services of any such public utility shall be fixed by ordinance of Council.
