All territory annexed to the City after September 1, 1986, shall immediately upon annexation be classified in the RR Rural Residential District and shall be subject to the regulations and standards of Chapter 1122.
Within 30 days of the effective date of the ordinance annexing territory to the City, an owner of property included therein may apply for a change in the zoning of his property to a City Zoning District and such applicant is exempt from paying any required filing fee.
All territory annexed to the City prior to September 1, 1986, and not zoned as Rural District or Restricted Suburban Residential District by County resolution or Residential by township resolution or not zoned to a City classification by an ordinance of the City, is hereby classified RR Rural Residential District.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the 0.833 acre tract of land known as 2715 West Schrock Road, the real estate description of which is attached to original Ordinance 03-09, and made a part thereof as Exhibit “A” shall, immediately upon annexation into the City be classified and zoned OI/Office Institutional District pursuant to the regulations and standards of Chapter 1155.
