Every subdivision shall be provided with a complete water distribution system adequate to serve the area being platted, including a service connection to within one foot of each lot, and appropriately spaced fire hydrants. The entire water system shall be designed to meet the approval of the City Engineer and the State Department of Natural Resources. Plans shall be provided, showing the location of the water distribution system, pipe sizes and the location of valves and hydrants, along with calculations on anticipated fire-flow capacities.
