The subdivider must post a maintenance bond covering any improvement to be accepted for maintenance by the City prior to approval of final plat by the Council. Such bond shall be held by the Clerk and shall become effective upon acceptance of the final plat by the Council, unless otherwise stipulated. Maintenance bonds shall run for four (4) years on street paving and two (2) years on sewer and water improvements.
