§ 35.15 FIRE, AMBULANCE AND SANITATION FUNDS.
   (A)   Two Fire Funds are hereby established for the village as follows:
      (1)   General Fire Operating Fund; and
      (2)   Fire Truck Reserve Fund.
   (B)   Two Ambulance Funds are hereby established for the village as follows:
      (1)   General Ambulance Operating Fund; and
      (2)   Ambulance Vehicle Reserve Fund.
   (C)   A Sanitation Fund is hereby established for the village.
   (D)   The Funds established in divisions (A) and (B) of this section are established in part to assist the village in complying with its contractual commitments, and to the extent necessary and appropriate in meeting contractual commitments, these Funds are hereby deemed to be retroactive to the appropriate dates.
   (E)   The Village Fiscal Officer shall seek the formalized approval of the Ohio State Auditor’s office for the creation of these Funds, and upon its approval, shall assign appropriate accounting numbers to these Funds with any advice and assistance the State Auditor’s office can give.
   (F)   The Fire and Ambulance Funds shall be appropriately used in a manner allowing earmarked contractual receipted revenue to be properly reserved for its intended purposes, and to segregate the revenue from general operating money.
   (G)   The Sanitation Fund shall be used as a fund for receipt of trash revenues, which are currently being collected under Chapter 51 of this code of ordinances.
