(A) The position of full-time police officer is hereby established for the village, according to the laws and regulations of the state. Such position shall be in addition to the position of Village Marshal.
(B) The number of full-time police officers existing at any one time, and the work hours, pay, fringe benefits and other regulations of the officers, shall be determined by motion of Council or other applicable action as the village authorities may from time to time deem appropriate.
