§ 33.02 AUXILIARY POLICE FORCE.
   (A)   An Auxiliary Police Force is hereby established and shall be equipped and maintained by the village.
   (B)   All auxiliary police officers shall be appointed pursuant to the provisions of R.C. § 737.161.
   (C)   All auxiliary police officers shall have the same duties and obligations as full-time police officers, as stated in R.C. §§ 737.18 and 737.19.
   (D)   All members appointed to the Auxiliary Police Force, as police officers shall be required to take peace officer training as stipulated in R.C. §§ 109.71 to 109.77.
   (E)   The rate of payment for services and required duty hours of an auxiliary police officer shall be negotiated by the officer, the Chief of Police and the Mayor, subject to the approval of Council. No prior guarantee as to number of duty hours or selection of work days shall be made to any auxiliary police officer.
   (F)   The Chief of Police is hereby authorized to hire any auxiliary police officer to any private organization, commercial firm or others for continuous on-the-grounds duty, provided that such employer pays into the General Fund the amount of $2 per hour for each officer so employed.
   (G)   Council shall be advised by the Mayor and/or the Marshal of the village of any proposed additions or deletions from the Auxiliary Police Force. Such advisement of any proposed changes by the Mayor and/or the Marshal shall be deliberated by Village Council, and its consent as to any addition or deletion of personnel from the Auxiliary Police Force shall be authorized by a majority vote of Council.
