For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
GARBAGE. Putrescible wastes, including every refuse accumulation of animal, fruit or vegetable matter, used or intended for food, or that attends dealing in or storing meat, fish, fowl, fruit or vegetables.
OTHER WASTE. Those discarded materials required to be removed from private or public places, but not falling into either the classification of garbage or trash. OTHER WASTES may include building materials and debris resulting from construction operations.
REFUSE. Garbage, trash and other wastes.
TRASH. Refuse and rubbish which is accumulated by individuals and businesses in their normal day-to-day operations, excluding garbage and excluding building materials and debris resulting from or accumulating in the construction, alteration or major repairing of any building or structure. TRASH includes, but is not limited to, the following: paper, boxes and other packaging materials, ashes, metal, clothing and glass. TRASH does not include grass, leaves, brush and tree or shrubbery trimmings.
