§ 37.04 ADVANCE NOTIFICATION OF NEWS MEDIA ORGANIZATION.
   Any news media organization that desires to be given advance notification of a public meeting regulated herein shall file with the Village Fiscal Officer a written request thereof that specifies the name or names of the public body that is subject to the request, the name of the news media organization, the name and address of the person to whom written notification to the news media organization may be mailed, delivered or transmitted, and the names, addresses and telephone numbers of at least two persons to either one of whom oral notification of the public meeting regulated herein may be given. Any such request shall be effective for a period of one year from the date of filing with the Village Fiscal Officer. The Village Fiscal Officer should give such oral notification or written notification or both as the official determines to the requesting news media organization as soon as practical, and except for emergency meetings of Council, at least 24 hours in advance of the public meeting.
