§ 94.03 REMOVAL OF DEAD OR DISEASED TREES.
   The village shall have the right to cause the removal of any dead or diseased tree on private property when such tree constitutes a hazard to life and property. The village shall notify the owner of such tree, in writing. Removal shall be done by such owner, at his or her expense, within 60 days after the date of service of such notice. If the owner fails to comply with such notice, the village shall have the authority to remove such tree and place the cost of such removal on the owner’s property tax notice.
