This district is established to provide opportunities in the Village of West Alexandria for innovative developments that do not lend themselves to the traditional development standards and provide a flexible process to review these proposals while ensuring their compatibility with existing proposed developments. This district encourages business development in cluster or shopping center layouts in place of strip-type development.
