(A) No person shall engage in the business of hauling garbage and/or refuse within the village corporate limits unless he or she shall first obtain a license therefor from the Mayor.
(B) Council hereby determines that it would be for the best interest of the village not to issue more than three such licenses within the corporate limits of the village for the hauling of garbage and/or refuse. By reason thereof, the Mayor is hereby limited to issuing not more than three licenses for the hauling of garbage and/or refuse.
(C) The Mayor shall collect a fee of $500 for each garbage and/or refuse hauling license, as issued under the provision of this chapter, which fee or fees shall be for the calendar year for which said license or licenses are issued.
