(A) Any dog that is seized and impounded may be redeemed by its owner, keeper, or harborer at any time prior to the expiration of 72 hours, upon payment to the Fiscal Officer of all costs and fees assessed against the owner, keeper, or harborer, and upon providing the dog with a valid registration tag if it has none.
(B) The costs and fees to be assessed against the owner, keeper, or harborer of any dog seized and impounded under village ordinances shall be as follows:
(1) Seizing and impounding a dog:
(a) First offense: $10;
(b) Second offense: $25; and
(c) Third and subsequent offense: $40.
(2) Housing and feeding a dog, per day: $5.
(C) All funds received by the Fiscal Officer hereunder shall be deposited into the village treasury and placed to the credit of the General Fund.
